When you're looking for websites and library materials about a certain subject, the WebPath Express page can help you find the information you need. You can find the subject you need in several ways: Searching, Browsing, or clicking through the Visual Search pictures. Using any of these methods, you can view or print the lists of websites and library materials about your subject.
Know What Your Looking For! (Keyword Search) If you know what your subject or topic is, searching is the quickest way to find it.
Searching WebPath Express is similar to searching the library catalog by keyword.
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3:
Click the Search tab, if it's not open.
Enter a word or phrase in the box next to Find.
Click .
On the Web Sites tab, WebPath Express shows you a list of websites, with descriptions and links, about your subject.
On the Titles tab, it has a list of the books in your library about your subject.
Just Browsing? (Browse)
If you're not exactly sure what your subject or topic is, or you want to explore a group of subjects, you can start out in the general area and dig deeper until you find what you want.
Click the Browse tab.
Each general subject appears with a .
Click any of the folders () to open it and see the folders inside.
To view the next lower level of folders, click either the or the name next to it.
To close a folder and move back up, click any open folder () or its name.
You'll know when you've reached the lowest level when you see the .
Scan the list for your subject. When you've found it, click its .

Need a Visual? (Visual Search)
If you're familiar with the Visual Search in the library, you'll know how to use Visual Search in WebPath Express.
It has picture symbols of the subjects and larger words that make browsing for a subject very easy.
Click the Visual Search tab.
You'll start out in the general area.
Click any picture symbol to dig deeper until you find what you want.
Once you see the button below the picture, you can't go any deeper.
Click the button under the subject you want.
