Looking for a particular book or need a one on a particular subject? Click on the tab "Library Search".

As a student, you will use the first three tabs: Basic, Power, and Visual. Here's how! BASIC SEARCH: What do I enter in the Find box?
To start searching your catalog, you mu​st enter either a complete word or a phrase (in quotes) and click a search button. You must type in a subject, book title, author name, or series title. Click on the corresponding icon and look through your search results.
The Keyword Search is best used when you have a complex search term that contains keywords from more than one of the other searches (author, title, subject, or series).
When you enter a word or term and click Title, you get a list of items with that word anywhere in the title.
If you know the author of a book, and want to find others written by the same one, enter all or part of the name and click Author. If you want to find items about a certain subject, topic, person, or place, enter all or part of it and click Subject.
If you enjoyed a book that belongs to a series, like Goosebumps or The Baby-Sitters Club, and want to find books in the same series, enter all or part of the series name, and click Series.
If you didn't find what you want:
Refine your search by changing your search terms or try a different icon. The keyword search usually finds the most books.
Change the look in box to include other schools in the district. They may have a book your library doesn't carry.
Search for award winning books and reading program materials by making choices in those boxes.
POWER SEARCH: This tab let's you make even more choices. Combine search terms and othe rchoices to narrow down your searches.
If you've tried a Basic search and received too many results, or results that were not what you're looking for, the Power search can help.
You'll need to choose the right field and enter a search term.
If you use more than one word in your search term, you can also determine how Destiny searches for them. Do you want results that contain any of the words, all of them, that exact phrase, or anything relating to those words?
If you enter more than one search term, you'll need to select the right [[#boolean|Boolean operator]] (AND, OR, NOT).
In addition, you can limit or expand your search by selecting any of the items beneath the three search fields.
When you're ready, click .
To clear everything and start over, click .
VISUAL TAB:
This tab is great for emerging readers! It gives pictures instead of words. The students can select a Subject based on the picture. Within the subject is suggestions
For example, a student might select the subject, "Holidays".
The search would then be narrowed down to specific holidays, such as Christmas, Halloween, Jewish Holidays, and Thanksgiving.
Once you select your specific holiday, a list of books related to that theme will be listed.
